13 Militants Killed in Coalition Airstrikes in Southeast Afghanistan

GHAZNI – At least thirteen militants have been killed in separate airstrikes conducted by coalition forces in southeastern Paktika and Ghazni provinces, Afghan National Army (ANA) said in a statement.
As per the statement, at least eight militants were killed in a coalition airstrike conducted in Malik Shahi and Ganchi areas of Barmal district.
“A vehicle and a compound of the militants were also destroyed during the same airstrikes,” the 203rd Thunder Corps statement added.
According to reports, at least five militants were killed in separate airstrikes conducted in Miadadwal area of Andar district and Gari area of Nawa district.
Taliban have not confirmed the incident, so far.
