Four Taliban Members Killed in Baghlan Airstrike

PUL-E-KHUMRI – At least four Taliban members were killed in Baghlan province yesterday, Afghan National Army (ANA) said in a statement on Thursday.
According to a statement by Mohammad Hanif Rezaee, Shaheen 209 Army Corps spokesperson, the insurgents were killed in airstrikes and clashes by security forces in Bagh-e-Shamal and Malayan region, Pul-e-Khomri city.
Four other terrorists were also injured in the event, said Rezaee.
Clashes have intensified between Afghan security forces and Taliban as the peace talks continue between US and Taliban. Both want to gain leverage in the talks by dominating the fighting grounds.
Taliban have not commented in this regard so far.
