Medical Equipment Made in Afghanistan Exported to Africa

HERAT – For the first time, medical equipment made in Afghanistan has been exported to Africa, local officials said.
The equipment includes surgery and patients’ tables. The equipment has been made in Herat Industrial Park’s medical factories, local officials said.
According to Jailani Farhad, spokesperson of Herat Governor, the equipment is loaded in four vehicle types so that they can be transported properly.
Hamidullah Khadem head of Industry Chamber in Herat (ICH) says, the equipment made at a cost of USD 90,000 follows the international standards strictly.
Herat Industrial Park was established 10 years ago and now exporting various type of medical items including different sorts of equipment to world markets.
