Pakistan Committed for Peace in Afghanistan: Qureshi

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi while talking to Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Idrees Zaman in Islamabad on Tuesday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to play its role for the Afghan peace process.
He pressed Afghan counterpart to formulate an Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan which can turn bond between both countries stronger and long-lasting.
Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister thanked Qureshi and appreciated efforts of Pakistan for helping establish peace in Afghanistan.
Matters related to bilateral relations and mutual interests also came under discussion.
Pakistan, especially after the formation of Imran Khan’s government, has been very helpful in supporting Afghan peace process.
