4 Militants Killed, 5 People Rescued from Taliban Prison

KUNDUZ – The Afghan Special Forces have stormed a Taliban prison in northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan, arresting 4 militants and rescuing 5 people who were kept as prisoners by the group, security officials said.
According to the informed military sources, the raid was conducted in the vicinity of Chahar Dara district of the province.
In the meantime, the sources said Afghan Special Forces conducted a raid in Khugyani district of Nangarhar province, killing 11 Taliban fighters, wounding 4 others and destroying narcotics and heroin labs.
The 205th Corps have conducted a multi-day operation in Arghistan district of Kandahar province killing 5 Taliban fighters and wounding 5 others, the sources added.
The Afghan Special Forces also conducted a raid in Sabari district of Khost province killing 2 Taliban fighters.
Taliban are yet to comment about the incident.
