A Student Falls Dead Looking for a “Better” Wi-Fi Connection

BANGKOK, Thailand – One student, Pattanadej Homhuan, was killed when he was looking for better Wi-Fi around his hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand. He was on hand to attend a Thursday gaming tournament.
According to the Daily Mail, the 21-year-old student was bending over the balcony of his room when he fell to death. His room was on the fourth floor.
His classmates said, they were playing a game called Realm of Valor when Homhuan complained by chat that he had poor WiFi reception, he then climbed onto the balcony of his room where he fell from the four floors.
His comrades realized that something was wrong when his character in the game did not move. They then went to his room and did not find him there.
It was through the window that they saw a security guard taking care of Homhuan’s injured body on the ground. The guard alerted the authorities about the incident and paramedics were dispatched to the scene, where he was declared dead on the spot.
According to the local police, the group were staying together at the hotel in preparation for a pro tournament in Bangkok – they planned to compete as a team.
