Afghanistan to Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement with Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT – The National Unity Government (NUG) will sign a strategic partnership agreement with Turkmenistan, the Presidential Office said late on Wednesday.
As per the statement, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will sign the strategic partnership agreement with the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
President Ghani on Wednesday left for Ashgabat, the capital city of Turkmenistan, leading a delegation of high-level government officials.
The statement by Presidential Office also added that President Ghani will also deliver a speech in the International Relations Institute of the Ministry of Foreign of Affairs of Turkmenistan.
It is highlighted that the Afghan and Turkmen officials will also sign other Memorandum of Understandings in the presence of the leaders of the two countries.
