Norway Assures Continued Cooperation with Afghanistan

KABUL – National Security Advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib received a high-ranking delegation of Norway, led by the country’s head of Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense, Anniken Huitfeldt.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on different issues pertaining to Afghan-led and owned peace process, security, fighting terrorism, holding consultative Loya Jirga, 3rd Kabul Process Meeting and joint cooperation.
Pointing at protection of the government and people of Afghanistan’s achievements made over the last years, NSA Mohib said our people wanted a lasting and honorable peace, adding we will consult with different segments including women and Afghan refugees in this regard.
He also appreciated Norway’s cooperation with Afghanistan. Furthermore, the Norway delegation assured of that country’s continued cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields particularly Afghan-led and owned peace process.
