Pakistan Orders Seizure of Assets of Banned Dress

KARACHI – Pakistan ordered Monday to seize holdings of banned assets and militant groups across the country under a UN Security Council (UNSC) order, Dawn news reported Tuesday.
The Pakistani Federal Government promulgated the 2019 Order of the United Nations Security Council (Freezing and Seizure) in accordance with the provisions of the Pakistan Security Council Act 1948 (Law No. XIV of 1948), reads a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The move came just days after the aerial fight between Pakistan and India’s air forces after a terrorist attack on a military convoy in disputed Jammu and Kashmir last month. India blamed the militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) for the brutal attack that killed more than 40 soldiers.
