Pakistan Successfully Tests Thunder JF-17 Long-Range Smart Missile

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan – The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has successfully developed an extended-range intelligent weapon, developed from JF-17 multi-role combat aircraft, Pakistan Today reported Wednesday.
The weapon was developed, and integrated through the indigenous efforts of Pakistani scientists and engineers, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Public affair branch of the Pakistani army said that the successful test provided JF-17 Thunder, a very powerful, day-and-night capability to attack many targets with extreme accuracy.
Pakistan’s Air Chief Mujahid Anwar Khan said it was another landmark event for the country. He added that if he was subjected to the aggression of the opponent, Pakistan would react with all his strength.
It is worth mentioning here the sleek and deadly combat aircraft, the JF-17 Thunder, which occupies a prominent position in its own class of fighter jets, built by the Pakistani aviation complex Kamra in collaboration with China.
The JF-17 Thunder of the Pakistan Air Force had also presented its magnificent air show at the opening day of the Radom International Airshow at Radom-Sakdu airport in Poland last August.
Painted in the colors of the Pakistani national flag, the pride of the nation, JF-17 roared in the Polish skies and left spectators fascinated by its breathtaking maneuvres.
The deafening performance of the PAF display included extraordinary flutter such as muscular rise, thunderstorms, low speed performance and inverted flight.
